Sense over Sectarianism Resource Updates
The recent changes to Scottish Legislation around the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications act (2012) has meant that several resources have had to be reviewed for content around this law and updated.
The ”Pitchin In” resource was developed by Sense Over Sectarianism and Police Scotland with the aim of helping prevent the potential criminalisation of young people through a series of educational workshops.
These workshops have been delivered across the country and in particular “Campus Cops” have attended training events and then delivered the pack in schools.
The “Employment, Social Media & Sectarianism” resource pack was developed by Sense over Sectarianism with a target audience of S5 pupils who are considering their next career stage as they transition from school to Higher or Further Education or Employment.
The Easter break provided an ideal opportunity to review this pack in its entirety and as a result the pack has been reproduced in a more user friendly format with additional content.
Both packs can be accessed through the Action on Sectarianism web portal, the Education Scotland National Improvement Hub or on Glasgow Online and the Glasgow corporate website.
