The ‘Gie’s Peace’ project worked with St Ninian’s Primary in Gourock P7 and P6/7 groups to create these graphic novels. The young people participated in ‘Gie’s Peace’ anti-sectarianism workshops running alongside their Divided City project delivered by their teacher. Magic Torch – our local folklore and storytelling experts came in to share their skills, helping participants create a story about discrimination and bring characters to life.The ‘Gie’s Peace’ project aims to open up discussion about sectarianism and create a space to explore equalities issues. These conversations are then able to develop in to creative responses, offering new opportunities, building skills and discovering new ways to share stories and experiences.
